Vice President of Content Acquisition and Strategy, Sling TV
Ankit Bishnoi is responsible for the overall content and distribution strategies of Sling TV, including licensing of programming and strategic partnerships. Ankit’s role includes determining Sling TV's unique offer structure, which promotes genre-based, a la carte-like packaging, as well as leading teams for both English- and Spanish-language OTT services.
Prior to Sling TV, Ankit worked at DISH and HBO, where he was responsible for digital programming and distribution, and at Columbia Capital, where he made investments in media, telecom and IT services startups seeking venture capital. He began his career as an investment banker in the media and telecom group at Citi in New York.
Ankit received his Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University. He currently serves on the board of directors of the T. Howard Foundation.
Ankit is an avid Georgetown basketball fan and enjoys hiking, snowboarding and golfing.
